It was back in November 1981 that I first saw this car at Speen Garage, Newbury. It was an ex-demonstrator and after a test drive I bought it and got the car wax oiled by Zeibart. I had it for just less than three years.   I missed seeing the expression of drivers in more expensive cars disappearing in the rear view mirror, as you were pushed into the back of your seat.

I kept in touch with the new owner and after a few years discovered he wanted to sell it so I bought it back as a 'spare' car. There was a bit of rust around the windscreen, so I got that fixed and garaged the car ever since.   Every year I got the car fully serviced by our local Mitsubishi dealer, MOT and replaced anything that needed doing, (I still have all the paperwork) and never took it out in the rain or when there was salt on the road.

So why do I want to sell it now? I don't use it enough. My own garage has been converted into a room and en suite shower and I am renting another garage because I can't bear the thought of leaving this car out in all weathers.
